Aptel stays discoms’ plea for power tariff hike
The tariff hike proposed by three power discoms has been stayed by the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (Aptel).
On Thursday, Aptel stayed the petition which the discoms submitted to Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC). The next hearing is on March 17.
The Jaipur, Jodhpur and Ajmer discoms sought a 11- 18% hike in tariff across categories by pegging their loss at R 90,000 crore.
