Switching to solar plants gets easier In Lucknow Uttar Pradesh
It will be easier to switch over to solar power plant for consumers willing to do so. Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (Lesa) has done away with the shortage of net meters, the special device needed to record both export and import of power generation from and to the grid.
Lucknow has only 15 consumers who have installed solar power system. At least five applications are pending at Lesa. A nodal officer has been appointed to clear pendency. “More consumers can apply for it as there will be no shortage of net meters now,” said Lesa chief engineer Ashutosh Kumar.
Consumers who have installed solar power plants at their premises and want to sell the surplus generation to Lesa will have it easy. Net meters connect the solar power plant installed at individual premises with the grid. Read More….
